In February 2025, I graduated with a Master of Science (Thesis) in Geology and Mining from the University of Barishal (BU), achieving a CGPA of 3.78/4.00 and securing first place among 28 students. My thesis applied machine learning and geospatial modeling to assess land use changes and their impact on habitat quality and biodiversity on Saint Martin’s Island, Bangladesh, providing key insights for conservation and decision-making.
In January 2023, I graduated with honors, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology and Mining from the University of Barishal (BU) with a CGPA of 3.83/4.00, securing second place among 46 students. It was during this time that I became deeply interested in pressing global issues such as climate change, land-use transformation, and biodiversity loss, which led me to pursue a future focused on these critical challenges.
