I was awarded the National Science & Technology (NST) Fellowship, a prestigious honor conferred by the Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST), Bangladesh. This esteemed fellowship was granted in support of my MS thesis and recognizes my academic excellence and commitment to practical research in coastal Bangladesh.
I emerged as the champion of the Barishal University IT Society (BUITS) Typing Master Contest 2.0, held in March 2023, with a typing speed of 60 words per minute (wpm) and an accuracy of 97%. Though a modest achievement, it reflects my dedication to precision, focus, and continuous self-improvement.
I was honored to receive the prestigious L. Austin Weeks Undergraduate Grant from the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) Foundation in 2021, awarded for my proposal on forecasting the Climatic Water Balance in Bangladesh using machine learning to identify drought- and flood-prone areas.
I completed the "Computer Programming and Data Analysis with Python" course in 2021, earning the Best Participant Award among nearly 190 participants for my active engagement in interactive sessions and presentations explaining python code. This experience deepened my enthusiasm for programming and data analysis.
I was honored as a winner in the competition “Hunting for the Paleo-Catastrophes: An Earth Scientist’s Tale,” held in October 2020. The program explored impact cratering processes, meteorite-Earth interactions, and shock metamorphism, offering valuable insights into planetary and Earth system evolution.
